Sell Your iPhone 4S for These Samsung Smartphone (Part Four)

Previously, we discussed the main features of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Definitely, the best feature of that phone is the Ice Cream Sandwich. It pushes the limits of what a smartphone can do. If you think about it, the phone is already acting like a tablet PC!
Now, let’s take a look at another phone that will make you sell your iPhone 4S – a Windows phone.
While you may think that buying a Windows phone is a bad investment, you’re wrong. The recently launched Windows 7.5 Mango is a rising player among the smartphone heavyweights, like Android, BlackBerry and iPhone.
Samsung was able to see the software’s potential and created a beautiful looking smartphone to show off its features.
Samsung’s Windows phone is the Focus S. It offers a very refreshing way of how smartphones should look. It has a very unique user interface that’s very easy to manage.
Samsung Focus S
It doesn’t look like the Android or iOS type, wherein you swipe between home screens. Instead you get live tiles on the home screen, which we’ll get to in a moment. Let’s go over the basic physical features of the phone first.
Like the three previous Samsung phones, you get a large screen for the Focus S. It has a 4.3 inch screen with the stunning Super AMOLED Plus display. You’ll be sure that everything looks fantastic on this phone. It also measures 5 inches tall and 2.6 inches wide. It’s also impressively thin, measuring at only 0.3 inches.
It also has a powerful 8 megapixel camera at the back. It takes great photos and videos. There’s also a 1.3 megapixel front camera that will come in handy if the need arises, like for video chats.
The main star of the phone though is the Windows 7.5 Mango. Right off the bat, you’ll notice that the screen is populated with huge boxes. These are called “Live Tiles” by Windows. They display information such as the number of unread emails and texts, Facebook updates by your friends and other data.
Not only that, you can customize the home screen too. If you don’t receive that many emails, you can unpin it from the home screen. You can put a contact in its place instead. If you text your spouse every moment, then this feature will come in handy.
Social media is a great feature on the Windows 7.5 Mango. For example, Facebook chats can be seen right in the inbox where you receive text messages too. You don’t have to open up the Facebook app just to chat with your friends. Also, if you see that your Facebook contact has disconnected, you can instantly send a text to continue the conversation, all within one messaging screen. Truly, Windows has put a lot of thought into efficiency.
There are other features too, such as the Bing integration. You can scan barcodes and get product reviews right on your home screen.
There are more features that the Windows 7.5 Mango has, but they’re too many to list here. Instead, check out their website. It’ll give you a comprehensive look at the Mango.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a very unique smartphone, then sell your iPhone 4S and get the Samsung Focus S instead.
All in all, these 4 Samsung smartphones are the best iPhone alternatives right now. In fact, these phones have top spots in “best smartphones” lists around the Internet.

iPhone 5 to Be Released Autumn Next Year?

Is the Real Thing Finally Coming?
After the release of the iPhone 4S, the much-touted iPhone 5 momentarily faded into existence. From being the major topic on threads and various online discussion boards, Apple snatched the limelight from the iPhone 5 and loomed it over the newly spawned smartphone- the iPhone 4S. This was clearly a step forward from its predecessor.

But the issue has now resurrected: Last time we heard, iPhone 5 rumors claimed that its release will be in autumn next year, 2012.

According to BGR sources, it is indicated that the 5th generation of the iPhone will be released in autumn 2012- around the same time this year when the iPhone 4S was introduced.
Similar sources impose their expectations and demands over the highly anticipated iPhone 5. They want a redesigned casing in which it is made of plastic material similar to that used by Apple in bumpers. “The first estimates / rumors the “plastic” that surrounds the device to replace the aluminum bezel seen on older model iPhone.”

The new plastic bezel is rumored to house the iPhone 5 screen with the smooth aluminum back of the device while it’s covering the revamped antenna device.

According to an article posted on iPhone-OS.com : “BGR has learned a number of details surrounding Apple’s next-generation iPhone from a close source. For starters, we can now confidently say that Apple’s next iPhone will launch in the fall next year, around the same time that this year’s iPhone 4S launched.”

Based on the researches we conducted, the tech giant plans to use a rubber or plastic material for the iPhone 5’s case (similar to the kind of material used in the tech giant’s bumper cases) “In all likelihood, this material will be used as a bezel surrounding the front edge of the phone (like the iPhone 3GS bezel) and it will serve two purposes. First, it will join the glass iPhone face with a new aluminum back plate. It will also cover a redesigned antenna system that surrounds the device, allowing Apple to build the rear case out of aluminum without having to use a large plastic insert above the antennas as the company does on its iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G.”

We know that early reports about the iPhone 5 pointed to a device wrapped in an aluminum case (similar to the one found on the iPad 2, as well as a larger display around 4 inches)

We intended to reserve our predictions and suggestions but we couldn’t afford not keeping you updated on these kinds of issues.

The Best Way to Sell My Smartphone is Online

With spring approaching, millions of Americans are sorting through their old belongings in order to undertake some “spring cleaning.”  People use this time of year to annually tidy up their homes and get rid of old junk that they no longer need.  It’s a good thing that this has become such a popular tradition because without it, a lot of people would find themselves trapped by all of the excessive belongings they’ve acquired over the years.  These days, many people find that they come across extra technological gadgets because old ones are constantly being replaced by new ones.  Sell cell phones for cash, if you’ve stumbled upon an old phone, you may be thinking, “should I sell my smartphone in order to get rid of some extra clutter?”  More likely than not, the answer is yes.

Once you’ve decided to clean house and get rid of your extra electronics that you don’t use, you may wonder “how do I sell my smartphone?”  That’s a question that stumps a lot of people because there isn’t an obvious answer.  There aren’t any retail stores sitting around that encourage people to come and sell their old phones, so many people wind up giving up and simply recycling or throwing their old gadgets away.  With a little bit of patience and forethought though, you’ll soon be thinking “I’m glad I figured out how to sell my smartphone.”  Instead of giving up so quickly, it’s important to recognize that there are numerous ways to sell old gadgets, and in general, the best way to do so is online.

If you start thinking “I’m going to sell my smartphone to a pawn shop or at a garage sale,” you aren’t going to be very successful.  Many pawn shops have an excessive amount of smartphones in stock, so they aren’t very likely to want to buy yours.  Additionally, the terms that pawn shops will offer you will not be favorable to you.  If you try to sell your phone at a garage or yard sale, there probably won’t be enough people who pass by that will have a big enough interest in buying the phone.  You’ve got to be able to reach a large number of people in order to create some demand for your old phone so it will actually be worth something.  Fortunately, when you go online you come into contact with millions of other people, which makes it easy to find someone who may want to buy your old phone.  Instead of taking the time to try to sell it directly to people through eBay or Craigslist, you are much better off just selling it directly to an online used cellphone dealer.  That way, you can quickly fill out a form about the type of phone you have and what condition it’s in, and then you’ll get an instant quote about how much they want to pay you for it.  Once you go through this simple process, you’ll probably wonder “Why didn’t I sell my smartphone sooner?” and you’ll know how to get rid of your old phone the next time you decide to upgrade to a newer model.
