Whatever the Brand Is

Get the most out of your new smartphone Part 3
In the first part of the article, we talked about the iPhone and how to make the most out of its iOS. Meanwhile, in the second part of the article, we focused more on what the Android phone can do.
So what exactly are we up to in this third part? Well, it’s all about the Windows phone!
Yes, everyone seems to be completely new to this device as we just know that Windows is famous for computers, possibly even the one you are using right now.
But of course, if you really want something new to try and you suddenly want to switch brands, Windows phones are also great to buy to!
Why? Let’s find out!

Windows Phone 7
Imagine your life without a computer. It’s pretty boring, right?
It is really amazing that there are computers in the world right now. Without them, well, life can really be very dull. It’s all thanks to Windows. It made everything possible for us.
So let’s think about the idea that this particular company that introduced the most widely used line of computers released phones that can actually do the same job as the big bulky desktop in front of you. Wouldn’t that be amazing?
Admit it, it is interesting.
Nowadays, you don’t really need a Windows computer just to use all the Microsoft software available. You can do it using a sleek and handy phone.

What you need to have
Like Android phones, you will need an ID for you to be able to use your account. The Microsoft Live ID will help you make the most of your Windows phone.
All the best features of your Windows phone can be enjoyed once you have set up your own ID. You can then download apps from Microsoft’s very own marketplace.
Also, you can play Xbox LIVE games and you can sync your smartphone to your account to save photos, Office documents and other stuff you wish to transfer.
So much for Apple’s iCloud, huh?
There is more about the Windows phone, actually. All you have to do is to discover them yourself.
Get to know SkyDrive
SkyDrive is just like Apple’s iCloud. It is Microsoft’s wireless storage service and like all cloud services, it will let you access your Office documents using your smartphone and a computer with your Microsoft Live ID.
And it’s not just about your files. SkyDrive can also enable your device to sync even your personal calendars, reminders, email and music.
You can take advantage of Microsoft Zune software on your personal computer or in any Mac using your Windows Phone 7 connector.
What’s more, you can discover and download apps from the ever reliable Microsoft Marketplace without breaking a sweat. They may not have hundreds and thousands of apps offered like Apple or Android, but they have just what you need.
The nice thing about the Windows phone apps is that they are built especially for your device. You can relish the premier exclusivity. But you can also expect some of the most popular apps like YouTube, eBay and Amazon will be up for installing.
Gaming will also be an advantage for you as you can actually have tight integration with Xbox LIVE. This will allow your Windows Phone 7 to be a great gaming platform you can be proud of.
